Our Circa 1955 Candle Box is a great way to celebrate the wonder and nostalgia of the parks experience when you can't be there in person. As a subscriber, every other month you'll receive a box with two large tin candles centered around a theme. It may focus on an attraction, land, resort, event and more. You can also choose to purchase the box as a one time purchase if a recurring subscription isn't for you.
This version of our candle box features two large tin candles:
- One will be in a “sweet treat” scent inspired by a treat, beverage or food item offered at the parks.
- The other will be in an “explorer” scent inspired by a ride, resort, event, show, or atmosphere from the parks.
Our next theme is...Timeless Tricks + Disney Treats! 🦇👻🎃
For this next box, we’ll be celebrating with a Disney inspired halloween retrospective. In 1929, Silly Symphonies released a cartoon short called The Skeleton Dance. Directed by Walt Disney, it's a macabre performance by 4 skeletons as they arise amidst a howling dog, fighting cats and a hooting owl. This first piece of Halloween content from Disney deserves a shout out and recognition - and we're here to do it in scent form! This explorer scent features notes of birch, palo santo, green moss, chestnut and musk. It's a spooky, atmospheric aroma sure to set a haunting tone in your space.
With our flashback to the past complete, now we fast-forward to the present. Last year's Not so Scary Halloween Party featured a Pumpkin Sundae from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. It was received so well, they just announced they're bringing it back for this year's parties too! Pumpkin gelato, pumpkin brittle, caramel syrup, whipped cream and halloween sprinkles are just the sweet treat we need on these warm, late-summer nights.
We're also including a special gift in this box! Our Halloween boxes will begin shipping out in early to mid-August.

Shipping Information
- If you or your recipient reside in an apartment, dorm or other community housing, we kindly recommend ensuring the office receives parcels and has secure pickup arrangements before placing your order.
- From late spring to early fall (depending on your climate), we recommend having the boxes delivered to a location where they are less likely to be left outside in high temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
- In the summer months, we only ship on Monday and Tuesday. This keeps the parcel in transit and helps to avoid long weekends stuck in hot shipping vehicles.
- In the winter months, please allow the glass candles to come to room temperature before lighting.
Candle Care and Safety
The first few times you light your candle is very important. Please plan on lighting it at a time when it can burn for a minimum of 3-4 hours. Allow the wax to melt as close to the edge of the vessel as possible before extinguishing. If you extinguish the candle prior to this, it will have trouble melting that excess wax during future burns. This is called "tunneling" and results in poor burning.
Trim your wick to 1/4 of an inch before each lighting. Make sure the candle has not been lit for at least 3 hours before re-lighting. Try to keep wick trimmings and debris out of the wax melt pool. Keep the lid on the candle when not in use. Please avoid placing the lid on the candle when it is lit; instead, blow out the candle then place the lid on top.
Always keep the candle on a firm and even, heat-resistant surface. Keep it away from drafts, pets and children.
