Hey everyone! I hope you're having a great winter season! It's warming up a bit here in Oklahoma but I hear there's another cold front coming in soon. Call me crazy, but I want to be snowed in for a few days. I could use an extra day or two at home!
I'm a fan of old classic movies. My ideal Saturday morning is drinking a cup of coffee and watching an old Doris Day or James Gardner movie. Maybe I'm an old soul, but there's a simplicity to life back then that I appreciate now.
Over the Christmas holiday, I caught a few episodes of I Love Lucy (another favorite of mine). In one episode, Lucy bought a dress and the clerk wrapped it in tissue, then a box, and added a ribbon. It wasn't a special touch that was requested, it was just how things were back then. Everything was packaged with care. Later, I was watching a Rock Hudson movie and noticed something similar.
I've always been one who loves to give gifts. Regardless of how big or small it is, for me, it's more about being personal and meaningful. It's about showing appreciation and care. Those old movies and TV shows reinforced something I've been pondering for awhile.
Going forward, each and every order will be hand wrapped with ribbon and a hand written note of thanks. From me to you. YOU are a gift to us and to our business. Your support allows us to dream bigger, experiment with new ideas, and share more to various causes. I appreciate each and every one of you and wish you an abundant 2018.
